To prepare for your presentation: NEWS ARTICLE SHOULD BE BASED AROUND CONCEPTION, PREGNANCY, & CHILDBIRTH

1. Select a news article that relates to a concept or theme in the session you selected.

2. Search for empirical research related to the news article.

3. Summarize the article and the empirical research into a five-minute presentation for the live session.

4. Prepare two discussion questions for your peers and be prepared to facilitate the dialogue.

Before the live session:

1. Submit a written synopsis of the research and current news article, describing how they are related to the session topic. This should be less than one page.

During the presentation:

1. Present your summary of the article and research. If you wish, you can create some PowerPoint slides to go with your presentation. (5 minutes)

2. Using the two discussion questions you have prepared, facilitate a dialogue with your peers. (10 minutes)
